Twitch Saunders was a runner, one of the few small group of people who dared to transport mail, supplies, and occasionally people interchangeably between the government-controlled heartland in the United States and the Chimera-occupied gray territory to the north. He was an associate of the Freedom First militia.
Twitch was transporting Henry Walker and his wife Myra to a Freedom First base within Chicago. He was killed by a Chimeran prisoner gatherer patrol after he made an attempt to saved the Walkers by luring them away.
