Timeline problem[]

I'm undecided on whether to get rid of the timelines on the nation pages such as USA and Russia. Because it is too excessive. So I need a vote on this.--Drgyen 01:27, July 11, 2010 (UTC)

Don't mistake February for October.[]

The monarchy ended on March 2nd, 1917. Bread demonstrations in Petrograd began on February 26. The troops disobeyed the order to fire on civillians on February 28. Lenin was in Switzerland at that moment.

The uprising in February was random, unexpected, uncontrolled and later led by SRs (socialist-revolutionaries) and the Petrograd Council of Worker and Soldier Deputies.

Lenin and RKP(b) took over on October 26-27/November 7-8, 1917. By that moment they'd already won the hearts of most of the troops and they only had to throw off the Temporary Parliament (or whatever you want to call Временное Правительство).

Michail's rize to power would have been illegal in March and impossible in October. Nikolai II reccessed to his uncle, who in turn reccessed to he Establishing Assembly (Учередительное Собрание), which was finally assembled in late 1917. It worked for only one night, before their own guards kicked them out, and only it could reinstate the monarchy.

A military takeover was also impossible. By summer of 1917 the armed forces have completely disintegrated, mostly due to Order №1 of the PCWSD: "Rights of a soldier and a citizen" - basically the right to disobey orders unless they were voted for and to elect commanders. thta's not a joke.

Sorry for unloading a history lesson. I just need someone to plausably explain the events and remove a common misconception - someone whose edit is truly valid.109.252.14.129 17:14, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Mate, Let's be clear. SHUT UP. It's an alternative universe so it is a different history. Go on here Click on the card, then scroll the thing on the bottom to this 5th mark where it says Bolsheiviks defeated, or if you are too dumb to do that, click the white star above the "s" in Siberia. Just because it's a different history don't immediately say Blasphemy.

New history[]

I got some valuable tidbits from an R3 Bradley Game guide. Although there were some errors in the events, I was able to condense the most important events to fit into canon.--Drgyen 04:27, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
