Someone needs to add that the original name for this game was Resistance: Rise of the Chimiera. you can see this by getting all the skill points in bonn and reviewing the skill point unlocks. (Resistance player)

Does anybody else think it is kind of dumb how much happened in this game in terms of progress against the Chimera. When it first came out i thought it was just going to be like side story, but from what i gathered on the article it was pretty important. I never played it, and im not gonna go out and buy a PSP just so I can play one game. Anybody agree?

Why they made a game that go on PSP instead of PS3? On PSP, the graphics are not good and it look like from 10 years ago. Why they made a PSP game? Scarecrow872 17:37, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
Simple. Sony owns the Resistance Franchise and can do what every they want with it, Sony wants to promote their PSP and chose to put a game from a popular PS3 franchise on it to make people buy PSPs. The graphics aren't all that bad on the PSP and seeing as Retribution is considered by many PSP users as one of the best (if not the best) First Person Shooters on the Portable, then I have no problem with it. Another Resistance game is coming out for the PSP2 as well. :D
