How did this weapon get it's name?[]

The molotov cocktail, although it has been used for centuries, didn't get it's name until the 1940 Winter War between Russia and Finland. It was named by the finns after Vyacheslav Molotov as he was the one who partitioned Finland between Russia and Germany. However, in the Resistance timeline, WW2 never occured and because communism never succeded Molotov would never had entered office and the Winter War never would of happened. So, how did this weapon get it's name?

That is a fantastic piece of knowledge! Obviously the creators of Resistance 3 didn't realise that when they made the weapon available in the game, they usually name their weapons. There is no argument against the fact, so maybe just stick this in the trivia and be proud, I would. (Sorry I love trivia piece like this) :)
