Dear Grandpa,
Just a note to let you know tha I'm fine. But this is a
very strange place. You think we got big shell in
the Bayou? They ain't nothin'. Up here they got some
real monsters. The fellas brought me a crawfish big as
ol' red askin' me to cook it up, but I told them we ain't
eatin' no shellfish smell bad as that.
The guys tell me they seen even bigger ones--but I think
they're pullin' my chain. Can't be none bigger than
what I saw.
You take care and give ol' Red a pat on the head for
me.
