Staten Island is one of five boroughs of New York City in the east coast of United States, which is located in the southwest part of the city, separated from New Jersey and the rest of New York by New York Bay.
On August 14, 1951, the Chimera launched an attack on New York and invaded Staten Island and other parts of the city. During the attack, the Minutemen protected and safely evacuated civilians from Staten Island via the Howard Tunnel. After the evacuation, a volley of Spire Missiles landed on the island and releasing payloads of Crawlers. The Minutemen quickly escaped.
