St. Louis

St. Louis is the largest city in the U.S. state of Missouri.

History

St. Louis was left in ruins in the aftermath of the Chimeran War. Although the structure of the city's Gateway Arch is left nearly intact. The human resistance group called the Remnants operated from St. Louis.

Joseph Capelli and Fyodor Malikov traveled to St. Louis where they met the Remnants. The two bargained with Remnants into helping them to steal a Chimeran power core for the Remnants' U/AV-17 Hawk in exchange for transport to New York City.

Trivia

• The presence of the Gateway Arch, as depicted in Resistance 3, is an anachronism. In real life it was constructed in 1963 and completed in 1965. Although plans and designs were made during the 1950s, due to the Resistance universe's altered timeline the Arch could have been constructed and completed earlier than in reality.
• St. Louis appears in both the teaser trailer and on leaked concept art for Resistance 3.
• The Chimera appear to have attacked St. Louis and the surrounding areas around Christmas, as decorations can be seen throughout Wrightsburg and a Christmas tree can be found in an abandoned apartment building during City of the Past.
