South America is the southern continent of the Americas, situated in the Western Hemisphere and mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, with a relatively small portion in the Northern Hemisphere. It is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the north and east by the Atlantic Ocean; North America and the Caribbean Sea lie to the northwest.
History[]
South America's role during the early phase of the Chimeran War remained aloof from the conflict until on July 30, 1952, four Chimeran battleships appeared over Colombia. Within three days, the airships blanketed South America with endless waves of Spire missiles, targeting every city with population over 100,000. By August 11, South America fell under gray territory and the Chimera began to excavate Chimeran towers across the continent. Prospect of any higher number of survivors that came from South America were all for naught after the United States Navy attempted to search for survivors along the coastlines.[1]
