The Schrotflinte Combat Shotgun is a 12-gauge double-barrel combat shotgun that appears in Resistance: Retribution.

Overview

Similar to the Rossmore 236 used by the British Armed Forces, its primary fire shoots from one barrel and the secondary fire utilizes both barrels with the only difference being a slightly lower capacity and a different feed mechanism.

As the shotgun is made for close-quarters urban combat, its wide pellet spread is effective against large clusters of small enemies, especially Leapers. Its secondary fire discharge both barrels for maximum stopping power. Its drawbacks is its low ammo capacity, and thus has to be constantly reloaded.
