President McCullen has authorized additional funding for gray tech research. He has
insisted that all ongoing studies of these materials be classified above top secret. All
research and experiments with gray tech will now be known as Project Prometheus.

Dr. Julia Cathcart at SRPA 7 claims that her team's latest experiments with combining
multiple gray tech components lends further evidence to the theory that these
components are part of a vastly powerful, ancient weapon. She has dubbed this
hypothetical armament "The Prometheus Weapon" and suggests that it may have once
been used to defeat the original Chimera on Earth. However, there is still no clear
evidence of who or what created these components, let alone why they would have
disassembled and scattered the pieces of a virtually invincible weapon.
