Subject: Chimeran Aerial Battleships Sighted

At 0400 reconnaissance teams spotted two very large Chimeran aerial battleships
approximately three miles off the coast of San Francisco. The vessels were just outside
the range of SRPA 3's long range AAG. The vessels did not attempt to attack or further
approach the city. We believe they may have been testing the range of our anti-aircraft
batteries.

This marks the fifth sighting of these aerial vessels. Analysts estimate there may be as
many as ten battleships and over 100 similar fighters in their fleet. It is unclear why
the Chimera have not yet attempted an aerial strike using these ships. We suspect they
are still producing more vessels and will not attack until their fleet is large enough to
penetrate our AAG installations. Upgrades to AAGs and mobile artillery are currently
underway across at SRPA bases.
