Subject: President McCullen Killed

We have confirmation that President McCullen was killed shortly after the fall of the
Liberty Defense Perimeter. Chimeran fighters and battleships attacked the capitol in
Denver within three hours of breaching the perimeter. A military escort was
evacuating President McCullen and his cabinet by VTOL when they were shot down by
enemy fighters. We know of only eleven survivors from the civilian government, all of
whom were located in the Baton Rouge protection camp at the time of attack. Douglas
MacArthur, General of the Army, has assumed command of the civilian population until
the time an orderly election can be conducted.
