Ringmaster Jack, who was generally referred to as “Master Jack,” was the ringmaster of the Zenda Brothers Circus.
Jack was able to find post-apocalyptic towns scattered across America, once he knew about one he would march the slaves forty miles a day to try and reach the settlement as soon as possible in order to make some profit. When the circus arrived at a town Ringmaster jack would always gather an audience, the circus held shows where an unfortunate slave had a fight to the death with El Diablo a captured Steelhead. The Slave usually lost.

- Ringmaster Jack punished Joseph Capelli for trying to escape by letting him fight against El Diablo. Joseph Capelli was able to kill El Diablo.
- In the book Ringmaster Jack is described as a fat man.
