Poland is a country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Germany to the west; Czechoslovakia to the south; Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Lithuania to the east; and the Baltic Sea to the north.

After the Chimeran War broke out in December, 1949, Poland was invaded by the Chimera. Within a month, Poland quickly fell with severe casualties. Warsaw, which boasted a pre-war population of two million, fell to only one thousand survivors.[1] The few remaining Polish survivors fled their country.[2]
After the liberation of Western Europe in Operation Overstrike, Poland became one the major fronts in the war in which human forces advanced to Eastern Europe.[3] On December 22, 1952, British military forces advanced on Warsaw and successfully destroyed a hub tower in the city.[4]
