The Netherlands is a European country that is bordered by the North Sea to the north and west, Belgium to the south, Germany to the east; and shares maritime borders with Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom.
History[]
The Netherlands was invaded and conquered by the Chimera after the Chimeran War broke out in December 1949.[1] Chimeran forces in the Netherlands constructed several Gun Towers along the Dutch coastlines.[2] By August 30, 1949, Rotterdam was chosen by British and Maquis forces as the landing site for Operation Overstrike. Despite suffering heavy casualties from the Gun Towers, human forces were able to secure Rotterdam.[2]
