Sorry, the last 3-4 months I have been writing a dissertation (due in tomorrow) so only just got back. Luckily this is within the week. That's a very useful page by one of the artists involved in Resistance 3. Recently (I say recently, last time I was on), I was using art station to look up concept, environment and character artists involved in every Resistance game. (Mainly by using Art Station: https://mattciaglia.artstation.com/projects/5W61W ) Very useful that artists take enough pride in their Resistance work to upload pieces. What I would suggest is that with useful images (scenary signposts are not that useful), I would cut down the image to the one picture you want to show and then put it in the appropriate level/character page. Matt Ciaglia's work is good because he has uploaded useful images the sadly defunct and unable to retrieve Resistance 3 Multiplaye, especially those HD multiplayer maps which would be better than any picture we would have taken during playing.
Today I found something really interesting, this video. The video might not seem so interesting (no sound etc) but it is actually a viral video for Resistance: Fall of Man! But that is not the only thing I found out about this video, there is some backstory and a transcription of this video that can be found here . The story about this video is so interesting and I thing we could make a page about it, maybe a page for this (Beatrice) character? But first we need to put the puzzle pieces together.
I have such bad contempt for this. A very very very bad piece of viral marketting makes me feel ill, no care at all for the game series or plot.
Lexi Kuptchenko is obviously the Runner of 1947 but are most people supposed to just randomly forget an alien takeover of the 40s/50s, 50 years later? Ugh. I'll say if it is truely a Fall of Man Marketing campaign then it should be on this wiki but should clearly be highlighted as non-canonical (The Runner is a mixture of Canon, he is mentioned elsewhere as just dying but his granddaughter and, maybe his daughter, are false).
Yes, you can make a few pages of "The Silent Garden". You'll have to tred carefully and keep things confined to as few pages as possible. Maybe not edit pages like China.
I came here asking your help with information about the Chimera, such as what are their physical, weapons and vehicles destructive capacity, their initial durability and speeds. I am an Admin from a wikia about crossover battles between armies and factions and I added the Chimeras as one of them, I just need expert advice where their members and equipment stand in combat. here is the profile for them so far.
I am good thank you, what about yourself?
I am going to try and help you with this, although I am no expert.
Physically: Chimera are stronger than Human Athletes as they are more animalistic and have natural animal muscle mass without much trying. Chimera are known to move faster than Human soldier counterparts and also have a higher metabolism which means that they can heal mid-battle and survive multiple gunshot wounds. Downsides: Chimera thrive in sub-zero temperatures, to operate in slightly warmer climates (Western Europe, United States), Chimera need to be infused with heatpacks. Natural climate is known to be a problem for the Chimera who took a long time (1952) before they had the abilities to invade Africa, they also have difficulty manoeuvreing oceans taking two years to build a Fleet to conquer to United States and leaving Australia relatively unscarved until 1956-7 (or that's just a multiplayer map and the continent still is untouched aha). Another weakness the Chimera possess is intellect. The Common Hybrid and definitely strains beneath them (Grims, Menials) have shown moments of animalistic gut-feeling tendencies, many lesser strains became feral when the Chimera had taken the world. Daedalus managed to restructure the Chimera hierachy with overseers and primarchs which improved them militarily. Chimera are weaker than the Cloven and Humans and Chimera consider the Leben Geist as the biggest threat to their existence.
But I'd say if another army (especially if they lack homing tags) was against a group of Slipskulls and Longlegs, the Chimera would decimate them due to the speed or their attack and the distance they can cover in one swift movement.
Weapons: Standard Chimeran Weaponary is lethal. The Bullseye Mk I and II have built in Homing tags meaning that bullets can curve to find their targets, also the projectiles are larger so do more damage than a bullet. Augers can enable its user to see and fire through walls, it also has a bullet shield, so you cannot ambush a Steelhead in an urban environment - Augers also mean that they can wipe out the crews inside vehicles in 3-4 shots, they can also target enemy vehicles weakpoints even if they are not visible on the outsides - screwing up circuit boards. Hedgehog grenades release spikes in all 360degrees, so if anything can see the hedgehog but is not behind cover than it can get hit. I'd say the Hedgehog Grenade is a Chimera's pride and joy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81UuRdz20EIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nX8Eqkx1zA
Stalkers/Hammers/Titans/Brawlers - Small Building Level.
I'll also say Chimeran Dropships are a lot stronger than VTOLs or Jets to the point that after conquering America, the Chimera use their Dropships as their main form of attack, raining death from above with missiles whilst also able to withstand 3 direct hits from a rocket. - Small Building Level too.
I have no clue about the Js so I have left this with a bit descriptions of common Chimeran traits in combat.
Wow There are so many! And I am not sure which ones are the duplicates. I wish I could give you the power to delete stuff but it is beyond my own rights but I'd support you if you tried to upgrade your status.
The duplicate pictures are from the ones that I recently uploaded. Go to the Images section and you should see three different pictures that are each double. Anyway, I think it is better for me to stay a casual editor.
I have a question about Eastern Command. I have added Siege of Eastern Command to the Candidates for Deletion page because there is very little information on that page, but I couldn't find any information of Eastern Command at all. Does Eastern Command even exist? Even on the timeline there is no information about it. I think this is very wierd.
Also, could you rename Assault of Bryce Canyon to Battle of Bryce Canyon.
Sorry about not being here, been trying to write an essay on Leonardo Bruni. Eastern Command appears in the a cutscene midway through Cheshire, it appears on a graph of military casaulties along with Northern Command.
Thank you. I have tried my best but I've adopted another game wiki and it is quite a challenge to manage to wikis.
Yes, the wiki I have adopted has also a working interwiki link. That's why I think it is not very dofficult to make. I will figure out, how to make the connection and will answer you or Drygen after that.
Wow. Yes I know, just don't like that tone. There is very little about Cardiff mentioned anywhere in the Resistance universe. The best information you can get is from the two detailed maps shown in the Resistance: FoM cutscenes - One I think mentions the Canadian Navy helping out and also lists all Ships and poss. companies that made the American Task force in the Battle of London. Go on Youtube on HD and have a look
