Lightner is an American soldier who took part in Operation Deliverance.
Biography[]
During the operation, Lightner was amongst the few soldiers to have survived the initial landings, running ahead of the rest of the company, he was ordered by a fellow soldier to target Chimeran forces positioned on the balcony. Heading over to the fountain to get a better view, he was instantly killed when Hybrids ambushed him.

- It is possible for the player to save Lightner from being killed by a Hybrid by being fast and by quickly eliminating all the enemies.
