Karachev was a small city in Russia. It was attacked by the Chimera sometime in the early 1930s. Fyodor Malikov participated in the defense of the city, where his experience allowed him to became an excellent marksman. He would later remark that had it not been for his experiences at Karachev, he would not have lived to be "liberated" by American SRPA agents sixteen years later.[1]
