James Hickey was one of the few survivors of Derry, and on August 9, 1957, alongside Ciaran and David, made it to a police station, which contained a stockpile of guns and ammunition. Unfortunately for the group, large numbers of Grims started to swarm the station, and began to overwhelm the trio. James then sent out a desperate broadcast from the station's radio, appealing to any other survivors in the area to come help them fight.
While what happens after his broadcast is unknown, it was picked up by Freddie Valmore in the United States and can be heard during Paradise Lost.[1]
