Ireland is a country to the north-west of continental Europe and to the west of the United Kingdom, from which it's separated by the Irish Sea.
History[]
Ireland was attacked and occupied by the Chimera in 1951 until it was temporarily liberated in Operation Morning Star.[1] But by 1957, Ireland had fallen back under Chimeran control.
On August 9, 1957, three survivors in Londonderry, James Hickey, Ciaran, and David broke into a police station where they hold out against swarms of Grims with firearms and ammunition from the station. Hickey sent out a desperate radio broadcast, appealing to any other survivors in the area to come and help them. Hickey's broadcast was picked up by American radio broadcaster Freddie Valmore.[2] Sometime after the wormhole was closed off from Earth on August 17, Irish resistance fighters have been waging a more effective campaign against the Chimera.[3]
