The Humboldt Surveying Company was a American civilian organization with a three-year government defense contract starting from 1949, in which it was commissioned by President Grace to survey the easternmost region of the Mojave Desert for the construction of the Liberty Defense Perimeter. The main crux of this undertaking involve soil tests, geological assessments and engineering projections to determine the viability of several thousand potential building sites for the LDP's gun towers.[1]

Joseph Capelli was reassigned and sentenced into a six-week work detail in the Humboldt Surveying Company for his military insubordination in April 1950.

Trivia[]

  • The Surveying Company shares a coincidental named with the real-life Land Surveying, in which the latter received many unexpected phone calls in relating to the viral marketing of Resistance 2 due to the Surveying Company being referenced in a letter in Capelli's folder in the Project Abraham website.
