Eric Hudson was the Squadron Leader of Johnny Grayson's flight squadron.

Little is known about Hudson apart from a mission in 1949, when several British pilots volunteered to assist the UED with the invasion of Russia. Hudson participated in a mission to bomb the Red Curtain. Several VTOLs were shot down by anti aircraft fire. Hudson led maneuvers that rescued over eighty percent of the downed crew members.[1]

While in Luxembourg, James Grayson found Eric Hudson's crashed VTOL in a trench. The fact that Grayson wrote the following sentence in his diary, "I lost my hero months ago, and today Jonny finally lost his", means that Hudson is dead and could have died on that day while defending the Luxembourg Fortress.
