Following the successful defeat of every human nation after the Chimeran War, the Chimera, for reasons unknown, discontinued the usage of conversion centers and simply began summarily exterminating humans en-masse instead of turning them into fellow Chimera. The death squads were created with the ultimate purpose of liquidating all human survivors.[1] These squads usually consisted of military strains, including Longlegs, Hybrids, Steelheads and even Brawlers that are transported by Dropships. In some extreme instances, as depicted in the assault on Haven, Death Squads are deployed with Stalkers, Goliaths, and even a Terraformer.
