Cocodrie is the ninth campaign level of Resistance 2.
Synopsis[]
Following the disastrous assault in Iceland, Nathan Hale was rescued by Joseph Capelli. Six weeks later, Hale wakes up in a field hospital in Cocodrie and learns from Malikov that his condition has become irreversible, and that he only has a few hours left before the Chimeran virus consumes him. Hale also learns from Capelli that the Chimera had breached the Liberty Defense Perimeter, killing 80 million people and forcing 3 million survivors to a Protection Camp in Baton Rouge. Daedalus had led his forces in excavating towers that were unknown to SRPA before leading his fleet to the Chicxulub Crater for unknown reasons.
Hale, deciding to make his last hours count, assists Capelli and Blake to carry out a desperate mission to destroy Daedalus and his fleet with a fission bomb. The Sentinels and Blake fought and secured a Chimeran shuttle to smuggle the bomb to Daedalus' flagship.

Trivia[]
- All of the tombstones in the graveyard to the right of the mansion are copies of each others, with the same inscriptions.
- Two L23 Fareye's can be collected from the graveyard, but neither of them can be seen.
- In front of the Graveyard there is a dead Black Ops soldier which has a red package (Carbine ammo)
- After the Marauder is killed, it will still be shown as alive on an Auger Mark II.
- There is a V7 Splicer hidden behind one of the chimneys in the mansion's attic.
- When the player is running to regroup with Capelli they can see that the bit of the passageway that gets destroyed is a different colour to the rest and will still blow up even if no fire from a Titan hits it.
- Sometimes the 3 Titans on the boat will not appear, but the scripted destruction of the walkways still happens.
- When the player meets Capelli, a large group of Black Ops will be with him. More Black Ops will spawn after the player returns from the river boat to Capelli's position.
- When Capelli is protecting the bomb, if the player walk towards him they will go through his head and walk up his gun.
- The bomb is unaffected by gunfire and will not explode if shot.
- There is a boxing gym in the high street. If the player look through the window there are a few punchbags and a ring with fresh blood splattered on the floor.
- There's an EAT restaurant in the high street like the one in Orick.
- If the player stays with Capelli through the whole battle in the high street, he will only disappear with the bomb once the player breaks line of sight with him.
- Private Osborne will not die even if Chameleons attack him.
- When Osborne or another Black Ops plant a charge on the gate, they do not retrieve the charge from anywhere, and instead the charge will appear on the gate after a brief delay.
- Despite the warning to stand back from a gate once the C4 has been planted, the player will not be damaged by the explosion.
- When the player get through to Capelli Blake, Osborne and any other surviving Black Ops turn left and run into a bush.
- In Superhuman mode, during the battle on the convey belt, if a Black Ops dies no Black Ops will replace it. This only happens in Superhuman, and on any other difficulty reinforcements will spawn.
- During the cutscene where you find Blake, if you press START and then quickly resume the game, everything will turn green for a few seconds.
- If overwhelmed by Leapers in the sewers, Blake will sometimes fire his M5A2's Grenade Launcher, making him one of the few supporting characters to use their weapons secondary fire, along with Capelli's shield.
- Regardless of where it is when the player deals lethal damage to the Marauder, it will always die in the same place in order to make a bridge for the player to leave the mansion area.
- Every grenade type are found in this level.
- In Cocodrie, similarly to the Orick, Twin Falls and Chicago levels, the player is able to destroy and interact with the scenery. Although some have the same interaction, it is also possible to see new ones.
- Car: Explosion of cars with flames after exploding, glass breaking of cars, cars with black and white tires can be punctured, lifting of the hood/trunk and doors of some cars when shooting.
- Wood: Breakage of wooden benches, breakage of radios, breakage of wooden chairs, breaking of wooden railings, breaking of small wooden boxes.
- Others: Breakage of chimera cocoons, breakage of wall lamp, breakage of glass in the scenery, breakage of ceiling lamps when turned off and without protection.
