A Chimeran battleship is a massive airship constructed by the Chimera. After the events of Operation Morning Star, the Chimera began constructing battleships for their expansion across Earth. The battleships formed the core of the Chimeran fleet.

The battleships were designed with long-range capabilities and equipped with advanced onboard weapons systems. Their components were taken from Chimeran hub towers.[1] The ships were huge constructs that are large as the towers. They have a large spherical hole located in the middle of the bow where a green glow radiates, which is presume to be the ship's reactor and serve for directing the energy beam directed from the tower network. When immobile, the ships were seen to have rings turning inside the empty hull that were blocked from view by the light from the reactor, possibly the anti-gravity system.
Their only known weapons were large spheres on either side of the prow, which were seen to fire enormous blasts of energy down into San Francisco. They were also armed with Spire missiles. They can hold hundreds of Chimeran Fighters in their many hangars and can possibly carry thousands of Chimeran troops. The ships were essentially mobile Chimeran towers as they were used in Daedalus' plan over the Chicxulub crater.

The Chimera constructed the battleships from ship construction yards in Europe, which includes the Chimera Construction Zone in Gerolstein, Germany.[1] These construction yards were heavily fortified and making it impossible for European forces to attack them.[2]
Resistance 2[]
Chimeran battleships were the spearhead of the Chimera's expansion across North America, Africa, and South America. On May 15, 1953 Daedalus led a massive fleet of battleships to invade the United States. The ships attempted to breach the Liberty Defense Perimeter at Twin Falls, Idaho but were repulsed by gun towers reactivated by Sentinel Echo Team. However, the fleet eventually breached the LDP on May 28 and relentlessly bombarded the Perimeter with Spire missiles. Thereafter, the fleet gathered at the Chicxulub crater to conduct the Chimera's ultimate plan; the ships served as conduits for the activated tower network to channel its energy towards the Chicxulub tower. The fleet was destroyed by a fission bomb detonated by the SRPA.
