Brickyard is a small-town community in Oklahhoma that was formed during and endured the Chimeran occupation.
History[]
Brickyard was formerly a brick-making factory owned by the Acme Brick Company. The factory had once been a source of employment for the area prior to the Chimera's invasion. After the invasion, some of the company's managers and employees moved into the factory and turned it into a settlement.[1]
In January 1954, Brickyard was visited by regulators from Tunnel-Through, who wanted the community to be part of the ever growing "New American Empire". Brickyard's citizens agreed to the Empire's demands in which they received Hale Vaccines as an incentive. After the residents began preparing their trip to Tunnel-Through, a Chimeran Death Squad discovered Brickyard and the ensuing fight left both sides dead.[1]
Less than twelve hours later, a delegation from Haven and remnants of the U.S. Army stumbled upon the remains of the Brickyard residents. The delegation paid their respects to the deceased residents by cremating them.[1]
