A blast root is a volatile Chimeran plant. It is recognizable for its large, glowing orange bud containing explosive chemicals that can be detonated by firearms. These roots are useful as an organic landmine during battle. Blast roots are found sporadically across different environments as part of the Chimera's terraforming process.
