Anais Roubier is a French survivor of the Chimeran occupation of France.
Biography[]
Anais was a nurse in France during the Chimeran War. The working conditions were very difficult, especially at night, when the windows were blackened and the nurses had to work by candlelight. According to Anais, many of the survivors had an "empty look" in their eyes. The nurses would sometimes try to speak with them, but to no avail.
She also remembers holding a baby whose parents had been killed. Anais thought about all the gruesome things the baby had already seen.
