5th Ranger Battalion was a Ranger battalion that fought alongside the Sentinels during Operation Iron Fist in which they sustained heavy casualties, but inflicted massive casualties on the Chimera.[1]
Organization[]
The Rangers were most likely divided into two - seven companies each with about 70-200 soldiers in total, in which the regiment would have about 3,000 men. The entire battalion is led by a Lieutenant Colonel Jack Hawkins and his Executive Officer/Second-in-Command Major Murphy.
